Yes I have had an episode of that x 3. I went to the EENT specialist the first time thinking it was an ear infection. They do a maneuver called the Epley or Particle Repositoning Maneuver. (I am typing from the paper they gave me) and that helped after a couple days.. The second time I had it I had to wait a while and the symptoms did lesson but then I finally had the treatment too. The last time was about a mo. ago and I was going to the Chir. so asked her about it. She told me she thought if I stood still and turned my head rapidly it might work. I did and it did work it worked. Chin down ...look to the left....look up .....look right ...chin down....did it several times, quickly. Reapeated it for a couple days. Can't hurt to try, hope it helps.
