i had this several years ago and it lasted 7 months, you need to retrain your head, do whatever brings on the vertigo, while you are holding onto a chair, move your head slowly first to the left and stop and count to ten, then back to the front and count to ten, and then to the right and count to ten, do this several time a day. it was a terrible time but it will go away, oh, and try sleeping with you head elevated. i hope this helps you.
