You mean Fall and Christmas fabrics for 2012 ? Fall and Christmas 2011 were ordered 6 mos ago. For next year, the best to hope for is a small price adjustment that shop owners MIGHT pass on ... but in 20+ yrs of quilting, I don't remember EVER seeing fabric prices go down.
99% of quilt fabrics are printed in China and Korea, add to that the overseas cotton supply problem with floods and drought, and we have an uncertain market for the future. The US is not a player anymore, sad to say.
We just need to remind ourselves what our quilting sisters in AU and Europe pay, that will make us feel better ! :roll:
