I had the 930 and sold it to buy the 830! I only paid $400 for my 830 and it was not only 100% complete, it had NEVER been used! THe owner traded her old machine in on this one back in 1974, then took the classes at the Bernina shop(they used shop machines, not theirs for the classes) and then never sewed a thing on it! I have the receipt, book with notes/samples in it, everything. The oil bottle was still in plastic! The BErnina lady said that was the saddest thing she had ever seen. Like a fine auto in the garage and never driven! I LOVE my 830!
