I opened my car door and she jumped in, started purring up a storm, got on my hubby's lap and just melted his heart. Hubby hasn't been the same since, she has him so wrapped around her little paw.
This is my kind of cat, she knew a good thing when she saw it. That purring was telling you and hubby how good it was to join the family. I say that's when you know a kitty was meant for you.
