I went to my first one this year in WA. It was a blast each shop gave out a pattern and the material to begin a block desingned by that store. If you went to each store you would have the beginning of a whole quilt. Of course it encouraged you to buy the fabric to finish the block (your choice) lots of prizes and a grand prize drawing after 16 store stamps on your passport. It was well organized and well run.
