I did some checking with my local shop and the teacher said that if I brought my machine in with me before the classes start that she would help me to set up the machine and make sure I know how to work with it. She seems really nice. She said I should take her sewing 101 class which all the students really know nothing and she starts from the begining. How to thread the needle, how to fill a bobbin. She said she teaches the class as if we were all in first year home ec. I will be taking this class first I think it is worth the 10.00 for 2-3 hours of her time.
