Yes, go. I lived in Paducah for 11 years.

If you do go, make sure you stop in at English's Sew & Vac. You'll make some wonderful friends. They might even have a class you can take while you're there. I've not lived in Paducah for 8 years now but still buy all my machines and supplies from them. There's another reason to go.

Go to Grand Rivers and eat at Patty's. It's a really neat restaurant. The girls dress in old time long dresses. The pork chops are amazing. They have other little shops in Grand Rivers that you'd love.

Paducah has really grown since we moved there in 92. You could always visit Hancock's there. Now that might get you in trouble. Not sure if they still have the evening concerts outside on the weekends or not.

If you like to gamble, Metropolis is right across the river and they have Riverboat gambling.

Go, don't miss out on the opportunity.
