had to get my cats teeth cleaned because he had gingivitis (bad bad breath) and had a few teeth removed. He felt alot better after that. I still have to give him a monthly antibiotic to help maintain them. good luck on the blaster, haven't met a cat that will let you open their mouth and get close without biting you, and I have a calm cat. lots of luck.
