My guild's quilt show was this weekend and I was quite happy and surprised that I won a 3rd place ribbon for my quilt; I've never won a ribbon for any of quilts in the past. Its my son's quilt, the title is "Steve's Manly quilt". He wanted a quilt that looked manly. It is made from mostly woven plaids and stripes, also civil war repro. shirting prints. Its 90"x103".
It was pieced on a 1936 Singer 201k treadle and a 1951 Singer featherweight, quilted on a long arm machine.
