I have a Viking SE, A Viking 936 serger, a Janome "My XL 23 L", a Singer Feather Weight(my dad bought it for my mom in 1940 and I learned to sew on it and did so for years) , and My great-gm Treadle, which I am not sure whether it is a singer or a "sob" ( some other brand)...the markings have been cleaned off.
open it up and check on the inside....actually when you clean the lint out of under the presser foot plate check for printing on the underside of the plate
