I saw something at a quilt show about this that blew me away. Instead of covering the rope with fabric and going thru that they dyed the rope. It was beautiful. I thought this was a wonderful idea and it would sure be easier on your sewing machine. Let me know if you try it. Show your stuff!!! God Bless, 4js
