I live in NY, also. Most of the Walmarts here have closed their fabric departments, and the ones that are still open, are saying theirs will close too. I have emailed and called the main offices several times, but they still are closing. I have even told them they will lose my business because of this. Luckily there is a Joann's store nearby. And I buy a lot online, too, now.
