I'll say prayers for you and your family if your Mom has a blockage the cath will show them where the blockages are and they should be able to take care of her with stents. My husband had a cath and they tried to do the PTCA but the vien/artery had remapped itself so there was nothing to be done sometimes the body takes care of itself if you need the stents they do it then while they have you there unless you need more. there is so much they can do for you today but they have to go from one thing to the next so they don't do more than you need at the time.
