Hope they send your replacement table quickly so you can play even better. I use a SuperSlider on mine and it helps the quilt to not get caught up on the small space between the hook area and the table. I taped mine down with blue painters tape, just in case it decided to slide around. I also use Machingers gloves and they help too. You will need more space to the right and left when working with big quilts, but I just put some folding tables up when I need to. I only had to once because most of my stuff is lapsize or smaller anyway.
