Geocaching is like treasure hunting outdoors with the use of GPS. You use a gps enabled device and given coordinates to search for caches. There are many typing of caches, tiny micros- to large ammo boxes to virtual ones...There is almost always a log book or slip that you sign with the date you find it and your handle or name. You then leave the cache where you found it so the next geocacher can find it.
It is so much fun, very challenging and a great cheap/free outdoor activity! A wonderful way to go to new places that you might not other wise visit and a awesome way to get exercise!
