I'm thinking about making mine closing with decorative buttons and have that side decorative as well as the front. I just can't decided if fringe in the seams is too much with the quilting or if tassels on the corners will look better. So what have you done?
I make mine using the envelope method, that way I do not need to fasten them. I also do not put anything in the seams, just sew them right side together and turn the right way round, it works well for me.
