Born in Allouez, lived in Houghton, raised in Battle Creek, married and moved back to UP, White Pine, from White Pine to little farm near Bergland, then to NM, CO and now WV. Y'all have made me soooo homesick for MI but mostly the UP where, if humans have taproots, that's where mine is. Not a day goes by I don't pine for the UP.
