I just know that wet mops can leave your floor WET so be careful as my daughter slipped and fell - just sore wrist! I sometimes cut old cloths (t-shirts) into rectangles same size as Swifter dust clothes and put them on my Swifter duster.
Use hot soapy water with a little ammonia added. Have cloth wrong out as much as possible and wipe floor. When done just throw the cloth away. Good in a pinch!
