Judy, You asked whether I coordinated scraps or just grabbed and sewd. The answer is, a little of both. But mostly grab and sew. I try to keep in mind the "rule" that value does the work, but color gets the credit. So I don't worry about colors clashing because to me there are very few colors that I don't like together at least in small doses. But I try not to put too many lights, darks or mediums together.
