Congrats for making the move to a wonderful and reliable machine. I have taken jabbs and kidding from a few of my quilting acquaintances for spending way too much money but, while their machines have been in shops for adjustments, my Berninas have found themselves there only for warranty maintenance. Presently I have two Berninas and sold my 440QE so I could have room for the 820. My little 240 is super for hauling to sew days outside the home. Both machines are holding up without problems and I sew an average of 4 hours a day-five days a week. You will not regret your change. Enjoy!
