Hello and welcome from Oregon. My parents lived in Anchorage for 9 years and loved it! Came back to the lower 48 when my grandparents needed help taking care of themselves!!!!

I am a retired educator, and live with my husband, two very spoiled dogs and a cat about 5 miles outside of Soldotna, Alaska. Soldotna is on the Kenai River known world wide for it's marvelous sport salmon fishing. I really enjoy piecing many kinds of quilts, and have had the privilege of taking classes from some well known teachers. Not so enthusiastic about doing my own quilting....there are some really great quilters here...love seeing your work!
