Hi: They say my Dad was part Cherokee (and was kinda looked down because of it) and I been asked many times if I am Indian. I always loved reading about Geronimo and the Apaches. When people cried, "Geronimo", before doing heroic acts, are great to me because I always thought of Geronimo as being a fierce, strong, brave, courageous warrior who loved his people and fought for them. I always thought it would be to have been great to be an Apache because I think people trembled at the sight of them and their name! I know history writes them as terrible but look what they had to to do survive and protect themselves. They sound a lot like the McGregors of the Highlands of Scotland!! Stay proud!

I don't know if it's true, but growing up my grandmother always said we were descendents of Geronimo. Her grandmother was Apache.
