hi, i haven't ever done this, but i've taken a look for you...
i think if you try going to 'SETTINGS' at the top of the page,
then look half way down the left hand side of the page...
you will see 'MY SETTINGS', look for 'MY ACCOUNT', then click on 'GENERAL SETTINGS'.
half way down the page you will see 'MESSAGING & NOTIFICATION',
there you will see, 'Default Thread Subscription Mode', it will most likely already be set to 'Through my control panel only'
click on it and it will open up other choices...
click on; 'instantly using email'...
i can't swear, but i THINK this should be what you're looking for...
