The print/pattern on your fabric should help determine the pattern you use to make your quilt. If the "pictures" on your fabric are large, you shouldn't cut the fabric into very many pieces, IMO. Someone suggested choosing coordinating colors and using them to frame the pictures on the fabric. I like that idea. If the print is so that you can fussy cut the pictures, that would be good, then add the framing fabrics. Fast, pretty, and impressive, especially to those who don't sew and quilt.
