There are no disappointments, only possibilities and freedom of creation

I thought I should be as close to perfect as possible but I am not and I don't want to be. Takes away all the fun of quilting and I learned to allow myself to make mistakes. As a child I never was allowed to make mistakes and it took me about 50 years to learn to accept myself the way I am but I did.
That doesn't mean my ripper isn't my closest friend when it comes to quilting
