Let's see those 70's color themed quilt!
I want to make a quilt for a friend. He is 27 and in love with the 70's colors. Bleh yuck! I really don't understand the fascination but it is one that he has had since we were kids. We first met when I was 13 and he was 15. So he is pretty special to me. One of the few people that I can truly call a friend for life. Thick and thin he has always been there. So this quilt is pretty special. I want it to be perfect. Ideally I am shooting to get this done in time for Christmas so I really need to get going on it!
Ok here is my questions: What colors just scream take me back to the 70's? Should I stick with solids or what? Any suggestions on a pattern but nothing too terribly hard and time consuming? Oh and don't forget it needs to be "man appropriate." I would love to see pictures of what you have all done!
