Hi all, Hope someone can answer a few questions I have.

I recently aquired 2 Featherweight sewing machines. One black, one white.

I was told by the seller that the black one was rare because of where the word 'Singer' is stamped. Instead of it being on the light cover, it is stamped right on the top of the machine itself. I've tried to search online for info on it but have found nothing. Is this a common thing thing for the machine?

About the white one....I was told they were manufactured as part of an agreement to the Native Americans for some reason which I can't remember. Like with the black machine, I have been unable to find any information to back up her claims. Does anyone know anything about these things?

Thanks for reading.

Ronnie
