Default A good Geometric pattern for geometric fabric

I'm on a roll this week, playing in my sewing room, pulling fabrics out and saying, "I wonder what this will go with...."
So I've had this multicolored plaid fabric for a very long time. At one point, I made a couple of zippered cosmetics cases out of it, but hesitated on using it in a quilt. It would need to not 'compete' with other fabrics or be wrong for the style of the quilt.
Then I found just enough off-white fabric left over from something else, and a deep red that somebody traded to me at one time, and used the pattern called "Pinwheels and Rectangles" by Quilt in a Day publications.

It went together quickly.

I'm really surprised how much my husband and son like this one. I think it might be good as a lap rope for someone in a wheelchair, or as a wall-hanging.

I apologize to those who may get dizzy looking at this!
