I hand quilt and use templates for everything. Just go to LQS and look for the large sheets of template material.. they make them in at least a couple of sizes. Hobby Lobby also carries the large sheets of Template material. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions, but I know it's quite a bit larger than the standard 8x11.5" sheets.
