Be glad to share. Bean soup Texas Style
2 lbs white pea beans
6 qts water
1/2 lb bacon diced
1 lb diced ham
1 tsp tabasco
2 tsp salt
1 c ketchup
4 c chopped celery
2 c chopped onions
2 c chopped carrots
3 chopped cloves
1 sm green pepper chopped
2 tbs sugar
1 tbs chopped parsley
1 tsp paprika
Cook bacon 5 minutes, than lightly saute vegs till wilted. Add rest a cook 2 or 3 hrs until
beans are tender.
