Remember you are the harder judge of your quilting. Go slow - no big rush. When I feel that way. I will do just 4 (for the corners or corner stones), then do something a little different with the fabric in the middle. Or if I am not going to do anything but the pattern I pick, then I will make one (1) row of blocks (3). Like all the blocks for the top of this block, I will only do the tops of all my blocks. If I am unable to sew them together as a strip, then I will label them and put each on into it's own baggie. Then move onto the next row of blocks (or middle row). I have found that doing one row of 3 blocks is easyer for me. Good luck, you've got a great start.
