I did the same thing the second week of quilting (I havent' been quilting that long). Boy did I learn a lesson that day. It doesnt sound quite as deep as yours but it was deep and my hand shook for a little while (shock?). I thought that after I wash it and wrap it as long as it stops bleeding it should be okay. If it was deeper I guess I would have had to go to the doctor. Anyway, it healed with a tiny scar that you really can't see and doesn't bother me at all. I always think of that when I get out the rotary cutter. Hope you are back to quilting soon.
