Thanks for all the advice! I will try out everything when I can. I have to go to work today.
I think I will just try to squeeze in the hand quilting just to get it done and work more with the machine quilting on someting I'm not in a hurry for. I never had a problem with my old singer, but this one is a lot different.
ctquilter- I am like that too. I probably wouldn't end up getting it done having to mess with the machine so much.
I do have many many other projects I can practice on later:)
Thanks again. I"m going to save all this info and make sure I try them all to see if I can find out what I am doing.
