If you do not do a test block first then run copies of your fabrics, cut them out the finished size of the piece and paste/glue them to another piece of paper, it will be your visual cheat sheet. Makes it easier than going back to small instructions.
I started with 3 3/4" squares and am randomly sewing the blocks - it is getting to be fun, there are so many combinations! I am only doing one or two at a time.
