Auction Quilts
I've done three, they are posted below.
the patriotic was for a kindergarten class. The eagles are painted on with children's handprints. Each class donated something for the silent auction. It didn't bring in as much $$ as it should have - I agree with the others, raffles are better.
The white an colorful one was for my guild's live auction. It was a laptop and brought in about $135.
The pink/green "yellow brick road" was for a charity silent auction. No one wanted to bid against anyone - on any item. Thank goodness we set a minimum bid but it didn't cover the cost of materials. But the $$ went to a good cause.
