glue tip
My husband is a woodworker. He had a whole set of glue tips he bought for applying glue to his wood projects. One of them was exactly what I wanted - and it fit the Elmer's bottle. Try some woodworkers specialty catalogs - like Rockler's or Lee Valley. I'm not sure where husband got his, but those are two likely sources. I haven't tried the method yet, but I'm all prepared when I get the courage.
