Many years ago, when i made clothesfor my 5 kids, I had a piece of ugly fabric. I was making my 3rd daughter a dress & knew it neede a little 'something'. I cut a narrow strip from my ugly & stitched it to the bottom of the dress. it was beautiful. I was able to use most of the 'ugly'. Maybe you could use thin strips of your 'ugly' in a med yellow quilt or mug rug!
