I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not because I can't get page 2 to work but you might think about looking at "unincorporated" areas. They and residential areas with HOAs have many restrictions. The towns will add on fees for your utilities and services. HOAs are pretty much sticklers as to what and where you can park vehicles, boats and RVs. If you move to FL, I can't imagine not living near the Atlantic or the Gulf...I'm on the Gulf and we were cooler last summer than most of the states north of FL.
Think North Pinellas County......Rainbow's End, the largest quilt shoppe in FL is 5 miles down the road from me. What more could you want? I'm told the rents are reasonable here too. Oh, and we're 1 hour from the State Fair Grounds and 2 hours from Orlando. Come on down.
