You did a wonderful job on the patch. I keep my pets off my quilts. Some I have given away have cats with claws and big dogs allowed to lay on them. If something like this happened they would probably just throw the quilt away. Makes me shudder when people tell me how their pets like laying on a quilt I have given to the person. Most people really don't appreciate a homemade quilt.
I know - people just don't appreciate them.
Her grandmother and I were both upset about the hole.
I don't think people realize the time and energy that goes into a quilt.
