I was told it was 100 hours of practice. After doing a couple odd pieces of fabric sandwiches, I decided to do one of my litted quilts thinking that if it turned out good I was ahead of the game. I have some wobbles and pointy places where there should be rounded but I'm learning as I go.

Beautiful! You give me encouragement as I want to do more that SITD or grid. I just have to take the time. I was told it could take 25 hrs of practice so must make myself do it at least 3-4 times a week for an hour each time. That's the plan anyway.
