I agree with gouldmine, I love the Glycerine. It's less than $5, only takes a drop or two on the finger tips, no residue on the fabric, is good for your skin, and a 4 or 5 dollar bottle will last two lifetimes. I hate the gloves, they're hot, get in the way, get misplaced. Can't change a bobbin or thread the machine with them on. They're just generally a pain to work with.
