nobody wants to hear this, but practice, practice, practice. You will see where to adjust to improve your accuracy. doing many scrap blocks has helped me. I have a nice pile to play with for design purposes.
Of course, that's why I'm starting w/ a sampler. I'm sure there are some less than perfect quilts in my future, but I'm not going to spend that much time perfecting my blocks before I make a quilt. If it's ugly, it's ugly. It'll be a learning process.
