It isn't paper piecing it is like doing a dress pattern. Print off and cut out the patterns. In the case of Wings there are 4 pieces. Pin them to your fabric and cut the fabric to match the paper pattern. Then sew the two left ones together and two right ones together and then sew the two halves together and then cut out the square from the center. Easy
Yes, Rhonda, I knew that, and that was the method I tried when I first did it. But, I had a major sinus infection, my eyes were going buggy on me, and my frustration with it was way higher than it should have been. I agree, easy except when you are sick and your brain doesn't want to process any information. It shouldn't have been that hard. With the paper piecing, I knew I could follow my marked line on paper. It's not anything against you, or your method, but rather against the dumb doctor who wouldn't listen when I told him that the first antibiotic he gave me wasn't doing a darn thing for my infection.
