Hi, cctx,

For my 401A I was fortunate enough to have a high shank snap on adapter that came from my broken Babylock. It snaps onto all of the feet from the Babylock (1/4"). For my 185J and vintage Kenmore 158.14300 I ordered a low shank snap on adapter which also can use all of the feet from the Babylock. Sure saved a lot of money. So, what I am saying is that if you find the feet you like somewhere online that use a high shank 1/4" snap on adapter, you will have solved your problem. I ordered my low shank snap on adapter from Expert Sewing Center, Inc. online. It only cost me $3.99. If this doesn't make sense, just let me know. I will try to explain it better or maybe someone here on the board can help clarify for you. Good luck
