I am making a 2 throws for winter. If it is cotton it will wash well. I usually air dry so it does not shrink or loose its sheen. It is easy to sew on also. Totes, Purses, etc. I have also made from these samples. You can applique some also. The flowers that you use for applique are larger than regular quilters cotton but they are bright and beautiful.
