She is a beauty! As for oiling, only use ONE drop in each area marked to oil. If it is slinging oil, you are using too much. I would stick with the 8 hour use and oil recommendation, and would also brush the lint out of the feed dog and bobbin case with every bobbin change. Rarely are old machines over-oiled, but I have seen far too many that were too dry.
