JenniKy...here is the link to the process I'm trying to use even though i didn't quilt in a hoop like she does. What attracted me was the precisiness and not having to use a strip on the back. What I hadn't paid attention to was that she had a 1/2 inch seam that she trimmed to 1/4 so I'm punting and adding a strip on the back.
Still my block is very flat and square which is nice to work with. I haven't made the jig that she uses but I can see how useful it would be. I'll try to have pictures to add early next week.
