I don't have a pix of the back 
But I simply used an offwhite Kona fabric and it looks very nice & simple. I did color match the thread to the blocks .... using only cream thread in the bobbin (so that is what shows on the back).
For a queen quilt, I used 132 squares, 11 across and 12 down. I cut the top/backing 9" square and the batting 7 1/2 inches square. Very EASY to do!!!
