Pokey Little Puppy has a soft spot in my heart since my daughter named our first dog after that book. She didn't look a thing like the dog in the book but she was the best dog ever.

Pokey Little Puppy warms my heart, too. My DS had a record that read along with the book & I can still hear him "reading" along with the narrator. "Where in the world is that Pokey Little Puppy? Where in the world is he? Where in the world is that Pokey Little Puppy? I wonder where that puppy could be?"
